Job overview
Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is looking for a Bellman to help create a welcoming first impression for arriving and departing guests. The role centers on supporting smooth check-in and check-out experiences, handling luggage, sharing information about hotel facilities and nearby attractions, and ensuring guests feel assisted throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests on arrival and support them with luggage handling.
- Accompany guests to their rooms and explain the hotel’s services, facilities, and amenities.
- Arrange guest transportation needs such as taxi requests and valet coordination.
- Answer guest questions and offer guidance on directions, dining suggestions, and local information.
- Keep the lobby and luggage storage areas tidy and well-organized.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest requests to support satisfaction.
- Support valet parking operations when required.
- Work closely with other hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
- Follow hotel rules and procedures related to guest service, safety, and confidentiality.
- Take on additional tasks and special assignments from the Front Office Manager or other supervisors.
Experience and qualification requirements
- Prior work in a comparable hospitality position is an advantage.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal abilities are needed.
- Must be able to stay effective in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- Strong guest service orientation and a professional, positive approach are essential.
- Should be physically able to lift and transport heavy luggage.
- Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and transport options is beneficial.
- Availability to work rotating schedules, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
