Overview
This is a full-time BI Analyst position based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, offered through a Haystack hiring partner. The role focuses on turning complex data into business insights, supporting executive teams, business functions, customers, and the automotive sector.
What You Will Do
- Carry out analytical work grounded in data and create AI-assisted workflows that generate practical insights for leadership, internal teams, customers, and industry stakeholders.
- Collect, pull, prepare, standardize, and interpret data from both internal and external sources while keeping recurring datasets and reporting processes up to date.
- Develop and support automated reporting systems, data pipelines, and analytics tools, including production use of large language models and coding assistants.
- Use statistical and econometric techniques to spot patterns, validate hypotheses, and measure relationships, then present the results through clear reports and visuals.
- Assess, trial, and roll out generative AI tools and automation solutions that improve speed and reduce manual effort in analytics work.
- Help produce data products that monitor important industry indicators such as sales volume, average transaction prices, inventory, affordability, and credit conditions.
Role Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with at least 1 year of experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence.
- Strong ability to understand statistics and profile data to judge quality and explanatory value.
- Solid SQL skills for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data, along with exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
- Experience with statistical or econometric tools and/or reporting and visualization platforms such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Interest in, or direct experience with, AI/ML tools including generative AI and large language models for faster analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual compensation of $89,400 to $134,000, with possible additional pay on top of base salary.
