Role Overview
This position is for a Big Data Developer responsible for designing, building, and deploying big data solutions. The role calls for hands-on experience with PySpark and Python, along with the ability to work through complex analytical and problem-solving challenges. It also requires a collaborative mindset, flexibility, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to handle the end-to-end software development lifecycle for big data solutions, from design through deployment. The role includes following internal standards for reusable code, architecture, testing, and best practices. You should deliver quality code on schedule while keeping production defects to a minimum. In addition, you will evaluate and suggest technologies that can enhance current systems, share progress and risks with stakeholders, and escalate issues when needed. Time management, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly with limited supervision are also important.
Requirements
The role asks for experience in big data tools, especially PySpark and Python. Candidates should be capable of using advanced analytical and interpretive methods to solve problems effectively.
