Project Overview
This role is for an accomplished BIM Manager to support the Hamad General Hospital Safety Improvement & Risk Mitigation Program (RMP) in Doha, Qatar. The assignment covers refurbishment and upgrade works across several hospital buildings, replacement of key MEP systems, construction of new healthcare assets, demolition of selected structures, and delivery of essential safety enhancement measures within a major healthcare campus.
What You Will Do
- Direct BIM activities throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Create, roll out, and update the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Make sure BIM outputs meet client, consultant, and project specifications.
- Coordinate integrated BIM models across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP packages.
- Handle model federation, clash checking, coordination reviews, and closure of issues.
- Monitor BIM deliverables, quality controls, and the accuracy of project data.
- Assist teams in meeting digital engineering goals and adopting BIM best practices.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical direction to project teams on BIM matters.
- Compile BIM progress reports, presentations, and management updates for senior stakeholders and the client.
Required Background
The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, along with at least 15 years of professional experience after graduation. A valid MMUP/MME/UPDA Grade A certification is required.
Applicants must also hold, or have held, an internationally recognized professional licence, membership, or chartership from a respected institution such as CEng, PE, ICE, IStructE, CIAT, PMI, or an equivalent accreditation.
In addition, the role calls for a minimum of 7 years of experience on healthcare or hospital projects, with proven exposure to major hospital developments, healthcare campuses, medical facilities, or healthcare infrastructure work. Prior GCC project experience is mandatory. Strong capability in BIM delivery for complex multidisciplinary projects is essential, as is a solid grasp of BIM standards, digital engineering workflows, and project information management.

Tools and Technical Strengths
