Job description
About the Role
This full-time, on-site Broker Support position is based in Wollongong, New South Wales, with standard hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. After probation, the role offers one work-from-home day each week. It is designed for experienced loan processors or broker support professionals who want a clear pathway into mortgage broking through strong performance and internal progression.
The organisation operates a large in-house mortgage brokerage that settles roughly $300 million to $500 million each month across residential, investment, and construction lending. It supports around 6,000 paying clients across Australia, helping them implement long-term lending strategies aimed at paying off loans years earlier and saving an average of more than $270,000 in interest.
Role Summary
This position is intended for someone who can manage loans end-to-end with accuracy, speed, and confidence. The business does not use this role as a long-term endpoint; instead, high performers are moved into Mortgage Broker / Financial Strategist roles internally, often within 12 to 18 months, with high achievers typically progressing within 12 to 24 months.
You will work with a steady flow of paid, committed clients who are ready to proceed, so there is no cold calling, no lead chasing, and no need to source business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, submit, and monitor loan applications using ApplyOnline.
- Manage files from the first assessment through to final settlement.
- Assess PAYG and self-employed financials, including company and trust structures.
- Assist with lending strategy by aligning serviceability and lender policy.
- Coordinate with lenders, valuers, conveyancers, and accountants as needed.
- Resolve issues proactively so applications keep moving forward.
- Handle client communication and set expectations throughout the process.
- Keep CRM records accurate, complete, and ready for audit, while meeting NCCP and AML obligations.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity suits an experienced professional rather than an entry-level applicant. It is aimed at someone who already knows how to process loans through to completion, can handle busy workloads and complex lending scenarios, and is motivated by a genuine route into broking.
Strong exposure to investment and construction lending is important, along with the ability to work commercially and stay performance focused.
Experience and Requirements
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing or brokerage operations.
- Demonstrated use of ApplyOnline is essential.
- Construction lending experience is essential.
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking is preferred.
- A clear police check and credit report are required.
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
Remuneration and Growth
The base salary is $90,000 plus superannuation, with performance commissions that can take total earnings to about $130,000 OTE and up to $150,000+ for top performers. Strong performers may also earn around $60,000 in commission on top of base pay. The role comes with a structured internal pathway into broking and the chance to progress quickly in a high-volume environment.
Why This Role May Appeal
- You will work with paid clients who are already committed, rather than unqualified leads.
- The business has grown its headcount by 35% in the last 6 months and by around 100% over the last 24 months.
- Performance is visible and backed by consistent application volume.
- Ambitious team members can move ahead quickly if they deliver results.
Onboarding and Benefits
- All expenses paid trip to the Real Estate Mastery event on the Gold Coast.
- Fully funded induction at the Gold Coast headquarters.
- Company laptop and phone provided from day one.
- Free access to become an Infinity client yourself, including access to investment opportunities plus education and tools to help save hundreds of thousands on a home loan.
Culture and Community
The organisation highlights its charity involvement as part of its culture, including fundraising efforts for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.
- More than $250,000 raised at Christmas 2024 for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.
- More than $1,000,000 raised at Christmas 2025 for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.
About the Opportunity
If you are a high-performing loan processor seeking strong volume, strong earning potential, and a real step toward becoming a mortgage broker, this role is built to support that next move.
Additional Information
The role is with Infinity Group Coaching Pty Ltd in Wollongong, NSW, Australia. The position is full-time and on-site with one work-from-home day per week after probation. No business development is required.
