Work Arrangement

This position is fully office-based in Dubai and follows a six-day work week, Monday through Saturday. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available. Candidates must also be comfortable working night shifts.

Role Overview

Kayana is looking for a motivated and performance-focused Business Development Associate to join its Dubai team. The role combines inbound and outbound sales: you will handle incoming enquiries while also creating new business through proactive prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building.

You will often be the first contact for prospective customers, communicating by phone, email, and live chat to assess needs, qualify opportunities, and present the most suitable Kayana solutions. Success in this role depends on your ability to build a strong sales pipeline, close business, and consistently outperform targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and convert incoming leads across phone, email, WhatsApp where relevant, and live chat.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, outreach campaigns, referrals, networking, and market research.
  • Screen prospects, identify their needs, and present Kayana’s value proposition in a compelling way.
  • Manage the sales cycle from qualification through closure and successful handover.
  • Draft and share quotations or proposals, follow up regularly, and negotiate commercial terms within approved limits.
  • Keep CRM records current, including activity logs, pipeline stages, notes, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Support, and Operations teams to support smooth onboarding and a positive customer experience.
  • Share market intelligence such as customer pain points, objections, and competitor activity to help improve the business.
  • Meet and exceed individual KPIs and sales goals consistently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and driven by results. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving sales environment, balancing activity targets with a short sales cycle and maintaining disciplined follow-up.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development, with B2B exposure preferred; telesales or inside sales is a plus.
  • Prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry or hospitality technology is preferred.
  • Experience selling to USA and/or Canada markets is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in closing inbound leads and building a pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities with a results-oriented approach.
  • Comfort with targets, activity-based metrics such as calls, emails, and meetings, and quick sales turnaround.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.

Salary

The starting monthly salary is AED 8,000, with additional commission on top.

Additional Notes

This is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. Candidates should be prepared for night shifts and a six-day work schedule.

Experience in the cited sectors and target markets is preferred, not mandatory, unless otherwise assessed during hiring.
