Role Summary

This is a full-time Business Development Representative position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role follows a hybrid work model, combining time in the office with travel and field-based work.

The representative will be responsible for finding and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, follow-up on inbound leads, and targeted outreach within assigned markets. The position also includes discovery conversations, understanding client priorities, presenting EnerGroup Inc.'s offerings, and arranging meetings for further sales discussions.

Key Duties

  • Generate and assess new opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound lead follow-up, and market-focused prospecting.
  • Conduct discovery calls to learn about customer needs and buying interests.
  • Present EnerGroup Inc.'s solutions in a clear and persuasive way.
  • Schedule meetings and help move prospects through the sales process.
  • Keep the CRM pipeline accurate and well organized.
  • Create customized outreach messages for different prospects and segments.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to improve messaging and go-to-market strategy.
  • Monitor performance metrics and share insights on activity and progress.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer responses.
  • Support efforts that improve lead quality and sales productivity.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Comfort using CRM platforms and sales tools to manage pipelines, track activity, and report outcomes.
  • Results-driven approach with the ability to meet or surpass activity and revenue goals in a fast-moving environment.
  • Capability to operate effectively in a hybrid setup and collaborate with both in-office and remote colleagues.
