Job description

Role Overview

We are hiring a polished and highly informed Career Coach to deliver end-to-end career support to professionals working toward opportunities in today’s corporate environment. This position calls for someone with up-to-date, practical understanding of hiring practices in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and the ability to help candidates target meaningful, strategic roles.

The ideal candidate will communicate at a native or fluent English level, assess professional profiles with precision, support mock interview preparation, and advise senior-level professionals on executive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact one-to-one coaching conversations that support career changes, promotions, and movement across industries.
  • Offer job search guidance tailored to the hiring patterns, compliance expectations, timelines, and market differences across the US, Canada, and the UK.
  • Refine résumés, CVs, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles so they match the conventions of each target region, including UK CV structure and US/Canadian resume formats.
  • Run advanced interview practice sessions, behavioural coaching, and presentation preparation, while also coaching clients through compensation and equity negotiations.
  • Teach effective networking approaches for both inbound and outbound outreach, including the use of LinkedIn, professional bodies, and recruiter relationships.
  • Track candidate progress, review outcomes, and improve coaching methods in response to changing market conditions.
  • Confidently support clients applying to roles across the Canadian, US, and UK job markets.

Required Profile

  • Prior experience in career coaching, executive search, university career services, or corporate talent acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of corporate hiring cultures, major employment centres, and market expectations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
  • Native-level or bilingual English ability with excellent written and spoken communication for professional and executive audiences.
  • Solid grasp of modern career frameworks, behavioural assessment methods, and hiring processes, including ATS optimisation.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, active listening, and a structured, practical approach to solving problems.
  • Certification such as CPCC or BCC is preferred, though not mandatory; applicants with a background in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Industrial Psychology are also highly valued.

What We Offer

  • Chance to make a meaningful impact on the careers of high-calibre international candidates.
  • Autonomy to manage your own client portfolio and tailor your approach for the best placement outcomes.
  • A competitive compensation package that includes salary, performance-linked bonuses based on candidate results, and health benefits.
