About the role

Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, delivers community-based support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this full-time position based in Idaho Falls, ID, you will be part of a purpose-driven team that builds genuine connections and helps participants make progress toward greater independence.

What you’ll do

• Provide dependable daily support that helps individuals grow, learn, and live well.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
• Use sound judgment and follow through with appropriate actions for participants.
• Encourage community involvement and support participation in preferred activities.
• Help individuals work on developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and provide care for individuals who may have behavioral challenges or more complex support needs.

Compensation and benefits

This position offers pay of $15.00 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for a benefits package that includes Pay on Demand, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match. What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, dependable, and responsible. You should be comfortable communicating clearly, adjusting to changing needs, managing multiple tasks, working well with others, and handling time effectively. Prior experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
