About the role
Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, delivers community-based support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this full-time position based in Idaho Falls, ID, you will be part of a purpose-driven team that builds genuine connections and helps participants make progress toward greater independence.
What you’ll do
- Provide dependable daily support that helps individuals grow, learn, and live well.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Use sound judgment and follow through with appropriate actions for participants.
- Encourage community involvement and support participation in preferred activities.
- Help individuals work on developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist with personal hygiene and provide care for individuals who may have behavioral challenges or more complex support needs.
Compensation and benefits
This position offers pay of $15.00 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for a benefits package that includes Pay on Demand, paid time off, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
