Overview

This internship is designed for a Consulting Analyst to support client work across strategic, operational, and digital transformation assignments. It is a 16-week placement and there is a chance it could develop into a permanent position. The role provides exposure to business transformation, operating model design, technology change, and broader change management, while working alongside experienced consultants and directly with clients.

Project and Change Support

  • Keep project plans up to date, monitor risks, and track progress.
  • Assist with governance routines and reporting for client programmes.
  • Help coordinate stakeholder communications, training activities, and change-related tasks.

Operating Model Design

  • Document existing business processes and organisational structures.
  • Support the creation of future-state operating models.
  • Highlight gaps and identify opportunities for improvement.

Technology and Transformation

  • Review current systems and contribute to technology strategy work within a project team.
  • Support system selection activities and transformation roadmaps.
  • Assist in delivering digital and business transformation programmes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Examine data to spot inefficiencies and areas where performance can be improved.
  • Support initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.

Strategy and Advisory

  • Carry out research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Help frame business problems and shape practical recommendations.
  • Create polished presentations for senior audiences.

Day-to-Day Work

  • Preparing presentation materials for client meetings and steering committees.
  • Using Excel to analyse data and support insights.
  • Helping run client workshops and capturing the outcomes.
  • Mapping business processes and suggesting improvements.
  • Following project milestones and managing key deliverables.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint, communicates clearly and in a structured way, and pays close attention to detail. A curious, proactive approach is important, along with the ability to work in a fast-moving and changing environment, take initiative, and learn quickly.
