Job description
Role overview
This interim leadership role keeps creative operations running smoothly for North America. The person in this position will coordinate the flow of creative work, making sure assets are prioritized correctly, produced to standard, and delivered on schedule. The job involves close partnership with regional marketing and events teams, with occasional collaboration with global events and digital design groups.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized problem-solver with strong creative operations experience and practical knowledge of the design process. You should be comfortable stepping into an established workflow, quickly understanding the business context, and managing several initiatives at once while keeping teams aligned and projects moving forward. Success in this role means delivering high-quality work that is on brief, on time, and adapted for the right channels to support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Act as the temporary operations lead for North America creative services and keep work moving across current and upcoming priorities.
- Work closely with North America marketing and events teams to maintain delivery order and support key business objectives.
- Manage creative output for new product development campaigns, Amazon content, core programs, and other ad hoc requests.
- Check that artwork follows the brief precisely and is free from typos or inaccurate information.
- Represent regional operational needs in global creative discussions and make sure those needs are reflected in planning.
- Take ownership of creative projects from initial intake through final handoff.
- Build and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking to keep delivery on track.
- Handle several active projects at the same time while adapting to changing priorities.
- Apply and strengthen project management methods, tools, and workflows to improve visibility and efficiency.
- Run regular progress meetings, share clear updates, and remove blockers before they affect delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners so timelines, deliverables, and expectations stay aligned.
- Oversee the briefing and development of creative materials for North America campaigns and events, including in-store and virtual formats.
- Ensure assets are delivered correctly to retailer platforms, including proper file formatting and naming standards.
- Maintain strong quality control so all deliverables meet brand and technical requirements.
- Keep asset management, version control, and delivery processes organized and reliable.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in creative project management and operations.
- Proven ability to step into complex environments and quickly deliver continuity and results; interim or contract experience is an advantage.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority workstreams at once.
- Experience setting up structure, timelines, and processes in fast-moving, deadline-heavy settings.
- Background leading creative teams in agency or brand environments; experience in beauty, luxury, or consumer goods is preferred.
- Solid understanding of design workflows and production requirements.
- Excellent organization and accuracy, with a strong comfort level in process-driven work.
- Confident leadership style with a collaborative and solution-focused approach.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability, including influencing cross-functional partners.
- Practical, hands-on mindset with the willingness to step in and execute when needed.
- Self-directed and able to work independently while staying closely connected with other teams.
