Qualifications and work style

• High school diploma or GED is preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
• Must have strong sanitary practices
• Should be able to communicate effectively with coworkers, staff, and the people served by the organization
• Must be capable of carrying out routine custodial duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and related cleaning work
• Experience with infection-control procedures is important for every cleaning assignment
• Ability to clean carpets and strip and wax floors when needed
