Job description

About the company

Mochi Health is working to improve a broken healthcare journey by helping patients discover appropriate care, understand costs upfront, and access the medications they need. The company is developing an AI-powered marketplace designed to make healthcare easier to find, more transparent, and more affordable.

Its platform brings together transparent pharmacy pricing, personalized medication support across providers, and ongoing access to medical records. The goal is to make healthcare feel simpler, more human, and more useful for real patients.

The team is growing quickly and values bold ideas, inclusive teamwork, and meaningful impact. This role is an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven company that is reshaping healthcare from the patient perspective.

Role overview

Mochi Health is looking for a business-minded Data Analyst to support growth efforts. You will work closely with marketing, performance, influencer, and leadership teams to understand what is driving results, where investment should increase, and which channels need adjustment.

This position suits someone who enjoys turning complex, messy data into clear recommendations and practical decisions. The work combines analytics, experimentation, and business judgment, with direct ownership over growth insights.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of growth analytics from data structuring through insight delivery and stakeholder follow-through.
  • Develop and refine attribution approaches such as MMM, MTA, or blended methods to evaluate true channel return.
  • Plan and review experiments across creative assets, landing pages, onboarding journeys, and incentive campaigns.
  • Streamline reporting and funnel analysis with SQL and Python.
  • Work with marketing partners to improve targeting, bidding, and budget decisions.
  • Use clustering, lookalike modeling, and related analytical techniques to segment audiences and strengthen CAC and LTV performance.
  • Create internal tools that make campaign analysis, forecasting, and planning more efficient and actionable.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Math, or Engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with growth, marketing, product, or business data.
  • Strong SQL and Python capabilities, along with good habits for writing maintainable code.
  • Comfort working with performance data from channels such as Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok.
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical tooling.
  • A self-directed, curious mindset and an interest in high-impact problems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and benefits

The base pay for this full-time position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually, plus equity and benefits. Final compensation depends on factors such as skills, experience, education or training, and location.

Benefits include 401(k) with match, generous time off, life insurance, medical, dental, and vision coverage, commuter benefits, daily meals, an espresso bar, wellness activities, team socials, and a stocked kitchen.

Work environment

This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, CA. The team works onsite five days a week to support collaboration, innovation, and close connection. The office is located downtown, near BART, Muni, and local food options.

Equal opportunity and accommodations

Mochi Health is committed to fair employment practices and makes decisions based on merit. The company does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
