About the Role

The Business Intelligence Team at Breeze Airways is crucial for enabling data-driven decisions by providing timely, accurate, and actionable data. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will contribute to building BI solutions that support profitable business operations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, persistence, creativity, and teamwork. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various departments and talented professionals across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes for effective data analysis.
• Ensure the quality of imported data, collaborating with QA analysts as needed.
• Manage the lifecycle of data sets, including their commissioning and decommissioning.
• Handle sensitive data and information in strict accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist in the creation of reports and analytical insights.
• Contribute to the management and design of the reporting environment, including data sources, security protocols, and metadata.
• Support data warehouse initiatives by assisting with the identification and refinement of reporting requirements.
• Aid in projects focused on enhancing data integrity and normalization.
• Participate in testing and implementing new or updated software solutions.
• Provide support for strategic decisions concerning new system implementations.
• Generate reports from various single or multiple data systems.
• Troubleshoot issues within the reporting database environment and with generated reports.
• Evaluate changes and updates affecting source production systems.
• Train end-users on the functionality of new reports and dashboards.
• Conduct technical reviews and propose enhancements for data storage structures, data mining techniques, and data cleansing processes.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for operational, commercial, and administrative projects.
• Develop dashboards and key metrics for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Generate standard monthly reports.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by BI, Finance, and Revenue leadership.
• Meet performance objectives and adhere to established standards, aligning with Breeze Aviation Group Values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and effective time management skills.
• A proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong drive for achievement.
• Prior experience in Data Analytics or Data Science is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL/Python.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
