Role overview
This full-time deli role is based in Dublin 2 and focuses on preparing fresh hot and cold deli food to a consistently high standard while keeping customer satisfaction at the centre of everything done.
What the role involves
- Preparing a range of customer orders across fresh food counters, including sandwiches, rolls, hot food, and sliced meats, while following store portion-control guidelines.
- Cooking, assembling, and presenting food throughout the day so the deli display remains attractive and well stocked.
- Maintaining excellent standards across all fresh food counter displays from opening through to close.
- Sharing food knowledge, recipe ideas, and helpful suggestions with shoppers to enhance their experience.
- Handling customer questions and requests promptly, professionally, and in line with store procedures.
Candidate profile
The ideal person should bring strong communication skills, a genuine enthusiasm for food, and the ability to work well in a busy team environment. Comfort with multitasking under pressure is important. HACCP training is preferred but not essential. Experience in customer service is helpful, and prior deli experience is required.

This position is full time and onsite in Dublin 2. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with the option to work weekends. Salary is on application. The closing date for applications is 30-06-2026. Job reference: 52735.
