Job description

Role overview

This position combines customer deliveries with hands-on warehouse support. You will be responsible for getting Aidacare equipment to customers at their addresses while also helping keep day-to-day warehouse activity running smoothly.

Role title: Delivery Driver/Storeperson

Location: Fyshwick, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time permanent

Reporting line: Warehouse Manager - ACT

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out deliveries or warehouse tasks as needed, staying flexible to support operational demands.
  • Manually and with forklift assistance, load and unload delivery vehicles.
  • Assemble equipment and provide support with equipment setup.
  • Prepare orders by picking and packing them for dispatch.
  • Clean and maintain products in the warehouse when required.
  • Assist with stock management and purchase order activities.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in driving or warehouse work is an advantage, although it is not mandatory.
  • A current driver’s licence is required.
  • You must be physically capable of lifting heavy items and following safe manual handling practices.
  • A friendly, professional, and approachable manner is important when dealing with customers and clients.
  • You should be willing to complete or provide relevant checks because of client interaction, such as police clearance and NDIS Worker Screening.
