Job description

Role overview

SPH Media is looking for a driven and versatile Digital Workplace Specialist to join its Digital Workplace Experience Team in Singapore. In this role, you will connect business needs with technical possibilities and help drive ongoing improvements across the organisation’s core digital platforms.

You will take ownership of improvement initiatives from the first pulse of user sentiment and data gathering through to implementation and final closure. A major part of the job is working closely with business users, converting their feedback into well-defined technical requirements, and steering those requirements through development into practical solutions. You will also keep a steady feedback loop in place so the user experience continues to improve over time.

Another important focus of this role is AI innovation. You will be expected to spot realistic AI and GenAI opportunities that can help solve business challenges, while staying continuously updated on the fast-changing AI landscape.

Business analysis and stakeholder engagement

  • Own initiatives from discovery and sentiment collection all the way to delivery and project wrap-up.
  • Work proactively with business teams to uncover pain points and desired outcomes.
  • Convert business needs into clear technical documentation and practical user stories.
  • Set and monitor success metrics to measure the value delivered by digital solutions.

AI integration and future readiness

  • Identify areas where AI and GenAI can be applied to improve existing workplace scenarios.
  • Research and recommend new approaches and industry practices to strengthen the digital workplace.
  • Keep abreast of emerging AI trends so the organisation remains technologically current.

User experience and feedback management

  • Run feedback mechanisms such as surveys and focus groups to surface gaps in the employee digital experience.
  • Advocate for modern UX principles that make digital journeys simpler and more effective across devices.
  • Create and execute adoption plans, including targeted communications and training content, to improve user proficiency and platform uptake.

Required background

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. You should bring at least 3 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst, including hands-on work gathering complex requirements.

You will need a strong grasp of technology products and enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Google, and Okta, along with an understanding of how these systems work together in an organisational environment.

This position suits someone who is curious about AI, eager to learn, and motivated to stay current with digital workplace automation and AI/GenAI developments. Strong written and spoken communication skills are important, as you will need to influence both technical teams and senior stakeholders. You should also be able to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and coordinate multiple initiatives in a deadline-driven setting. A careful, analytical, and adaptable mindset is essential, along with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to a high-performing team.
