Job description

About Dyson

Dyson is a worldwide technology company that has been expanding rapidly, adding new categories, geographies, and teams. The company entered Canada in 2006 and is headquartered in Toronto, where it has been recognized among top employers. Its Canadian operation has continued to scale across digital, direct, field sales, and retail demo store channels.

Dyson values an on-campus working model that encourages collaboration, learning, and a strong team culture. Bringing people together in one workplace has helped create a lively and connected environment.

Role Overview

This position is focused on improving the customer journey on dysoncanada.ca through daily ownership of site operations, customer experience, coordination, audits, and continuous enhancement. The role uses analytics and customer feedback to recommend improvements that can raise conversion rates and NPS. It also serves as a key connector between eCommerce, IT, and other stakeholders when issues need investigation or escalation.

Site Health and Operations

  • Take responsibility for the daily running of dysoncanada.ca, with an emphasis on site stability, uptime, and a smooth experience at every customer touchpoint.
  • Track site performance continuously, spotting issues and user experience opportunities early so they do not hurt customer satisfaction or commercial outcomes.
  • Remove operational blockers quickly by partnering across functions to keep the online journey reliable and efficient.
  • Run business validation reviews for new products, platform changes, and features to confirm they meet actual business needs as well as technical expectations.
  • Keep eCommerce processes and functions operating to a high standard, with a constant focus on improving efficiency and execution quality.
  • Work as a central coordinator with Merchandising, CRM, Creative, Logistics, and related teams to assess whether content, campaigns, and promotions can be supported by the platform.
  • Develop effective partnerships with IT to manage incidents, solve issues quickly, and support ongoing system improvements.
  • Lead troubleshooting and quality assurance for complex technical matters and launches, including root-cause analysis and implementation of durable fixes.
  • Improve processes over time by standardizing routines, documenting workflows, and keeping operational playbooks current.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external payment partners to help secure competitive transaction fees, improve conversion, and strengthen cost efficiency.

Site Improvements and eCommerce Transformation

  • Promote a disciplined, process-led approach to continuous improvement and digital transformation for dysoncanada.ca.
  • Create strong business cases for enhancements and new capabilities using data, customer insight, and commercial priorities to inform global and IT decisions.
  • Own a live enhancement backlog, balancing fast improvements with strategic projects and monitoring progress from idea stage through delivery.
  • Support eCommerce transformation initiatives by managing cross-functional change, aligning stakeholders, and making sure delivery stays on schedule and matches requirements.
  • Work with Global Product Owners, IT, and local teams to identify, define, and rank website improvements that will move business metrics and improve the customer experience.
  • Partner with the broader North America team to apply A/B testing and best practices that increase conversion and customer satisfaction.
  • Direct user acceptance and business validation testing, bringing together cross-functional feedback, tracking defects, and confirming releases meet operating standards.
  • Use analytics, NPS data, session replays, heatmaps, and direct customer feedback to form fact-based recommendations and improvements.
  • Keep stakeholders informed with clear updates on status, prioritization decisions, and progress across enhancement initiatives.

About You

You bring a strong mix of eCommerce operations experience, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and translating data and technical change into business impact.

Experience and Education

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a background in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related subject is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of eCommerce experience is needed, ideally in a direct-to-consumer setting.
  • At least 2 years of that experience should be in eCommerce operations, with direct ownership of site functions and business workflows.
  • You should be skilled in major web analytics and reporting platforms; Adobe Analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with content management and eCommerce platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Hybris, or similar tools is strongly preferred.
  • You need a solid understanding of how technical changes can affect revenue, processes, and overall commercial performance.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, using technical data, performance metrics, and customer insights.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Ability to spot new opportunities through customer insight and data analysis.
  • Strong project management capability for coordinating website enhancements across global and local teams.
  • Experience writing concise and practical project briefs.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA for task management, workflow tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Proactive and imaginative approach to solving problems while supporting the wider team.
  • Adaptable, committed, energetic, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
  • Critical thinker with curiosity for business performance and the ability to draw conclusions from multiple data sources.
  • Ability to manage several projects at once while balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across local and global teams.

Compensation
