Job description
About TernX
TernX is a nimble, ambitious team with a worldwide mission: transforming the travel experience for families. As recognized category creators, the company develops travel products that help parents avoid the usual stress and confusion of traveling with children.
The business is scaling quickly, with a broadening product range and an increasingly international presence. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving startup at a stage where there is substantial room to build, influence, and grow alongside a brand that is raising standards in the juvenile sector.
Role Overview
TernX is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive expansion across EMEA. This is a high-ownership position that goes beyond territory management; you will work closely with the founders and play an active role in shaping the company’s future direction.
The assignment begins as a 6 to 12 month contract, with a stated intention to convert the role into a permanent position as the company grows. The position focuses on commercial strategy, account ownership across distributor and retail channels, and close partnership management to support shared growth targets.
The company values outcomes over rigid schedules and is open to flexible weekly hours. Candidates may join on a contract or consultancy basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and roll out a commercial plan for the EMEA region that supports the company’s current growth path.
- Own the full portfolio of accounts in your territory and define business goals and commercial terms that strengthen sales performance.
- Develop and maintain Joint Business Plans with strategic partners to create durable, mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and clearly communicate achievements, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Share practical market insights on trends, competitor movement, and changing industry conditions to help sharpen the company’s position.
Profile and Requirements
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial, startup-driven environment and contributing directly to leadership decisions.
- Strong background in regional account management, backed by commercial judgment and analytical thinking.
- Ability to run regular business reviews and maintain attention to detail in retail execution and brand presentation.
- Experience supporting marketing launches and coordinating campaign rollouts across EMEA.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to be trusted by partners and stakeholders at different levels.
- Capability to design training plans and incentive structures that motivate partners and improve results.
- Fluent English and German are required; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Comfortable working remotely, based in the DACH region, and able to travel regularly for customer meetings across EMEA.
What You Can Expect
- Direct exposure to the founders in a flat organization where your input can immediately influence the brand’s direction.
- The chance to join at an early, high-growth stage with significant untapped market potential and a product line that is still expanding.
- A close-knit, energetic team that moves quickly and values shared success.
- Flexible working arrangements and a schedule that supports autonomy and work-life balance.
Application Note
Applicants are asked to include the code phrase “Let’s Fly” in their application.
