Engineer - Finishing - Site

Role overview

The Engineer – Finishing – Site oversees the execution, supervision, and quality control of finishing works at the project site. This includes both interior and exterior finishes such as plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceiling work, and cladding. The position plays a key part in delivering the project on schedule while maintaining the required quality benchmarks and following approved architectural drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily finishing activities such as tiling, plastering, painting, false ceiling installation, flooring, joinery, and façade finishing.
• Study architectural and finishing drawings carefully and make sure site execution matches the specified design intent and technical requirements.
• Track contractor performance, monitor progress on site, and help ensure finishing milestones are completed within the planned project timeline.
• Inspect ongoing and completed work regularly to confirm quality standards, compliance with approved mock-ups, and adherence to project expectations.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to make sure materials, tools, and site resources are available when needed for finishing activities.
