Role overview
We’re seeking an Event Coordinator in Miami, Florida to help plan and deliver smooth, engaging event experiences. This position is a strong fit for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys interacting with guests, and can keep on-site operations organized from start to finish.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a positive attendee experience by coordinating event logistics, supporting day-of execution, and making sure event spaces and guest services are ready when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Support event planning and daily coordination so programs move efficiently from setup through wrap-up.
- Handle guest check-in, welcome attendees professionally, and offer clear direction as they arrive.
- Provide on-site assistance by answering questions, addressing minor concerns, and guiding visitors to the right areas.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to keep timelines, supplies, and operations on track.
- Observe live event flow and make quick adjustments to help maintain a seamless experience for attendees.
- Set up event areas and confirm that signage, registration items, and guest-facing materials are ready before doors open.
- Record attendance information and share important updates with event stakeholders during the day.
Experience and skills needed
- At least 2 years of experience assisting with or coordinating events in a detail-focused environment.
- Proven ability to manage attendee check-in and provide courteous support to guests and visitors.
- Strong organizational ability and comfort juggling several event tasks at once.
- Willingness to work on-site during live events and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Clear spoken communication and a service-minded, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and event participants.
