Job description

Role Overview

This position focuses on supporting onboarding operations and safeguarding data quality across internal systems. The role involves setting up accounts, handling service requests, and keeping documentation precise and compliant with operational policies, service-level commitments, and regulatory standards.

Onboarding & Account Processing

  • Handle account-opening and customer-onboarding applications submitted via digital channels, relationship managers, branches, and other business units.
  • Carry out onboarding work in line with regulatory guidelines and the bank’s internal requirements.
  • Ensure CASA-related processing is completed within the required turnaround times and accuracy benchmarks.

Data Integrity & System Updates

  • Complete data maintenance requests accurately and within the agreed SLA.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain clear records and proper documentation for all transactions that are processed.
  • Assist internal teams with queries related to onboarding and data updates.

Continuous Improvement

  • Look for ways to streamline processing, improve efficiency, and minimize errors.
  • Contribute to system enhancement exercises, testing activities, and process-improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field.
  • Experience in banking operations and customer onboarding.
  • Exposure to complex corporate onboarding is an advantage.
  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Good planning and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach.
