Role Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day gutter installation activity for a field office. The role includes completing on-site customer installations, fabricating gutters, and delivering materials to customer locations for third-party installation partners. The job requires safe operation of a company vehicle and gutter machine in a variety of outdoor field conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to complete gutter and gutter protection installations at customer sites.
  • Make sure installations are completed each day to support location performance and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with LeafFilter team members and/or subcontractors to carry out gutter fabrication and installation work.
  • Deliver installation services in line with established training and quality procedures.
  • Keep local office leadership updated daily, and whenever needed, on job progress, service concerns, completion status, and related matters.
  • Provide a strong customer experience while working at the job site.
  • Keep customer and office job records organized for administrative use.
  • Follow all job-site safety rules, OSHA requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Handle any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 3 years of successful background in home construction, remodeling, and/or gutter installation.
  • Valid, active driver’s license and the ability to operate a box truck safely.
  • Comfort working on ladders of different heights, including climbing up and down to perform services.
  • Strong commitment to quality and close attention to detail throughout the installation process.
  • Ability to train others using both hands-on methods and written documentation.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks at once and shifting priorities as needed without missing deadlines.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-focused environment and takes a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Good active listening skills and the ability to understand and respond thoughtfully to information.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to stay focused on even small elements and choose efficient paths to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to think critically, identify inconsistencies, solve complex issues, and evaluate information carefully.
  • Comfortable providing timely, empathetic support across in-person, phone, email, and social channels while keeping customer and coworker needs central.
  • Ability to work effectively with emotional awareness and build positive relationships across the organization.
  • Self-driven and accountable in meeting business goals, following policies, and owning actions and decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access.
  • Ability to complete a DOT physical and meet its requirements.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
  • Preferred: prior experience installing, repairing, or inspecting gutters or gutter protection systems.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Additional hours may be needed for exempt positions.
  • Work environment includes field office, manufacturing, and construction settings, with outdoor work in changing temperatures and weather conditions.
  • The role involves medium physical work, including exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
