An established family-owned holding group in the UAE is looking for a Finance Manager to strengthen financial planning, governance, and performance oversight across a portfolio of businesses. The group operates across property development and management, real estate investments, hospitality, and wholesale trading, and is known for its long-term investment approach, regional footprint, and focus on operational excellence and sustainable expansion.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a Big 4 audit or advisory background, or experience in real estate and investment-led groups, who are interested in a senior, high-impact role within a diversified corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across the organization.
  • Provide reliable FP&A analysis, including variance commentary and management-level reporting.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting in line with COSO and IFRS principles.
  • Monitor group cash flow, liquidity position, and banking partner relationships.
  • Contribute to financing activities, restructuring work, and investment appraisal exercises.
  • Build financial models and feasibility assessments for major initiatives and projects.
  • Liaise with external specialists on property and asset valuation assignments.
  • Oversee an efficient month-end closing process, covering accruals, impairment reviews, and profitability analysis.
  • Improve financial governance, systems, and operating processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Guide, coach, and support finance team members to drive strong performance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA, or CFA are preferred.
  • Applicants should bring at least 10 years of experience in finance, audit, or accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity is expected.
  • Experience from Big 4 audit/advisory firms or real estate/investment groups is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to large, diversified, or listed organizations will be an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in FP&A, treasury operations, and financial reporting controls is essential.
