Financial Controller

Role overview

LHN Limited is looking for a Financial Controller to take ownership of finance operations and support group-level financial strategy. The role works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key part in financial decision-making, reporting, controls, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO on shaping and delivering the Group’s overall financial direction and decisions.
• Run the Finance Department’s daily activities and ensure smooth operational management.
• Prepare accurate and on-time financial and management reporting, including group consolidation, cash flow reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
• Work with external auditors, bankers, and tax advisers on audit, reporting, and compliance matters whenever needed.
• Improve accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and raise overall efficiency and accuracy.
• Compile and present detailed financial analysis and reporting to Group stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
• Ensure the Group’s financial submissions comply with SGX Mainboard Listing Rules.
• Guide, supervise, and develop the Finance team to support strong performance and ongoing professional growth.
• Support training and capability development efforts within the Finance function to uphold operational standards.
• Handle other assigned tasks, special projects, or ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA or CA qualifications will be an added advantage.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller in a Mainboard-listed company.
• Good working knowledge of SGX Main Board regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Self-driven, committed, and able to manage work under tight timelines.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical ability.
