The role covers both pre-construction and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor project budgets, run tender exercises, and prepare regular financial and cost updates for management.
  • Examine architectural, structural, and M&E drawings and works to confirm compliance with relevant laws, regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
  • Track project progress closely to ensure work stays within approved scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget.
  • Work in coordination with internal teams and external parties such as management, landlords, contractors, consultants, and government agencies to deliver projects successfully.
  • Lead weekly progress meetings with contractors and consultants to review performance, resolve issues, and maintain momentum.
  • Present weekly status updates to management, including project milestones, risks, and matters needing decisions or approvals.
  • Report to the Head of Project Department and support additional administrative or ad hoc assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in Building Construction or a closely related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in project and design management.
  • Good knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and approval procedures is essential.
  • Experience working with developers will be considered an added advantage.
  • A demonstrated history of delivering projects successfully, ideally from start to finish, is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
