About the Role

Rotana Hotels is seeking enthusiastic and driven Front Office professionals to join their team as Front Desk Agents. This role is crucial in ensuring guests have a memorable and exceptional stay by providing personalized and efficient service from arrival to departure. You will be the first point of contact for guests, contributing significantly to their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, aiming for high customer satisfaction through personalized interactions.
  • Personally greet guests by name whenever possible and escort them to their rooms to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide guests with familiarization tours of their rooms and the hotel, and assist with inquiries and requests regarding hotel activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, promotions, and events to effectively address guest queries.
  • Stay informed about daily room rates and occupancy levels.
  • Adhere strictly to Front Desk cashiering standards and comply with all established systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage guest accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are accurately posted using the hotel's computerized Front Office system.
  • Uphold guest privacy by ensuring no personal details are disclosed.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the hotel's policies, procedures, service standards, and possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities and ongoing events.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a Front Office role within the hotel industry is required.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.
  • Proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Prior experience with Opera systems is a plus.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
