Role Overview
This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. What You Will Do
- Stay ahead of guest needs and respond to questions and requests with a courteous, attentive approach.
- Build strong knowledge of the hotel offering, including room categories, pricing, key features, available facilities, dining outlets, spa offers, and other properties.
- Take ownership of the quality of guest service delivery and ensure every interaction reflects a consistently high standard.
- Handle guest satisfaction concerns personally and make sure any required follow-up is completed promptly.
- Think proactively and propose suitable alternatives that better address guest expectations.
- Work collaboratively with all hotel departments and maintain positive, productive relationships across teams.
- Participate in hotel functions, daily shift handovers, and training sessions to strengthen professional capability.
Candidate Profile
The role suits someone with a strong guest-service mindset, good communication ability, and the flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Prior exposure to front office hotel operations is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and experience using a property management system are also preferred. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic language skills would be beneficial.
