Handler

Role overview

As a handler, you will support the smooth movement of shipments through the facility in Kabelsketal, Saxony-Anhalt. The role focuses on keeping loading and unloading activities running without disruption, checking and sorting consignments, handling digital data tasks, and maintaining service quality across the workflow.

Key duties

• Ensure that loading and unloading operations run efficiently and without interruption.
• Sort parcels and shipments, and check them for accuracy and condition.
• Record, process, and scan electronic data in the system.
• Carry out general quality assurance tasks.
• Coordinate and communicate with the team and connected departments or interfaces.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training is an advantage.
• Physical resilience and the ability to stay flexible in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• English language skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of hazardous goods handling and a forklift licence are an advantage.
