Through FieldCore’s field services team, the organization installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment to help deliver more dependable and cost-effective energy.

Role Overview

The Helper supports routine servicing and lubrication work on mechanical equipment, carries out minor to moderately complex mechanical tasks, and assists mechanics with journey-level maintenance and repairs. This role may also include additional duties aligned with the organization’s goals and values.

Key Duties

• Carry out lubrication of equipment according to established charts and procedures.
• Inspect, replace, and top up items such as oil, filters, hoses, belts, batteries, water pumps, and fuel where needed.
• Check safety-related components including fan belts, wiper blades, radiators, battery condition, coolant levels, tire pressure, and flat tires.
• Keep accurate records of completed work and upcoming service needs.
• Clean and maintain workshop areas, tools, and equipment.
• Support mechanics with moderate to complex overhaul and repair activities on power equipment.
• Use testing instruments such as ammeters, voltmeters, and gauges to identify faults and repair needs.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Be open to extensive domestic and international travel.
• Be prepared to work holidays, weekends, and overtime when field assignments require it.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Applicants should have at least one year of experience repairing and maintaining a range of mechanical equipment.

Preferred Knowledge and Abilities

Helpful candidates will understand purchasing processes, common automotive and construction equipment parts, and standard maintenance tools and servicing practices. They should also be able to follow simple verbal and written instructions, maintain routine logs, and perform manual work.
