About The Role

At tashas, the guest experience is paramount, starting from the moment a guest arrives until their departure. As a Host, you are the crucial first and last point of contact, embodying the warmth, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail that defines the tashas experience. We are seeking a confident and engaging Arabic-speaking Host to join our Al Ain team. Your primary role will be to ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed, valued, and well-cared for. This involves effectively managing guest flow, coordinating seating arrangements, providing support to the front-of-house staff, and contributing to a seamless service throughout the day.

Your mission is to act as an ambassador for Inspired Hospitality, creating lasting first impressions and ensuring guests feel comfortable, recognised, and attended to. Through your professional demeanor, organisational abilities, and genuine care for others, you will be instrumental in bringing the unique tashas experience to life daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently.
  • Escort guests to their designated tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements.
  • Provide accurate information regarding the menu and venue as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries with confidence and a professional attitude.
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and solution-oriented approach, especially during peak service times.
  • Ensure all guest interactions align with tashas' values and service standards.
  • Support the front-of-house team to facilitate smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in maintaining an organised and inviting reception area.
  • Ensure menus are kept clean, presentable, and readily accessible.
  • Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service staff.
  • Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting as required.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organisation in all guest-facing areas.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures, grooming standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with managers and front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Provide support to new team members during their onboarding and training phases.
  • Contribute positively to a team environment that fosters respect and excellence.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability in all aspects of the role.
  • Comply with company policies and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace safety.
  • Follow all food safety and HACCP procedures as applicable.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or other customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • A warm, engaging, and professional personal presentation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to remain calm and efficient in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
