Where you'll work
Job description
About Numa
Numa is a modern hospitality brand that is reshaping how travellers experience cities. The company offers carefully designed rooms, studios, and apartments in central neighbourhoods across Europe, combining thoughtful design with technology to simplify operations and remove hidden fees.
The culture at Numa is built around curiosity, authenticity, creativity, and inclusion. The team works in a supportive environment where different viewpoints are welcomed and where each person’s contribution can have a visible impact.
Role overview
As an on-site Operations Coordinator in Munich, you will be responsible for keeping the property in excellent shape for guests every day. Your focus will be on maintaining spotless rooms, smooth day-to-day operations, accurate information, and fast issue resolution, while working closely with housekeeping, maintenance, regional operations, the central operations team, and the remote Guest Experience team.
What you will do
- Oversee guest rooms closely by carrying out daily checks, supporting improvement work, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to keep quality standards high.
- Manage daily property operations, including housekeeping briefings, room readiness before check-in, maintenance scheduling, public-area inspections, and coordination with external amenity partners such as gyms or breakfast providers.
- Identify problems early, document them, and make sure they are resolved before they affect the guest stay.
- Review guest feedback and conversations each day to find the main causes behind complaints or requests and act on those issues quickly.
- Organise back-of-house processes by maintaining storage areas, tracking stock and deliveries, and supporting local compliance requirements.
- Provide hands-on support to the remote ICT team when technical troubleshooting is needed on site.
- Keep internal teams informed by logging issues carefully, escalating developments promptly, and sharing relevant operational updates.
- Maintain accurate property knowledge by updating internal systems, checking online listings for correctness, and ensuring guest-facing digital information stays up to date.
What we are looking for
You should bring a guest-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and the confidence to prioritise effectively when service quality is at stake. The role suits someone who takes ownership, works independently, enjoys being active on the property floor, and is comfortable dealing with practical challenges directly.
We are looking for someone with strong structure and organisation to manage maintenance tasks, inventory, and daily housekeeping coordination without losing track of details. Clear communication is essential, as you will act as the link between on-site teams, local partners, and remote colleagues. Prior experience in hospitality, especially in operations, housekeeping, or guest relations, is preferred.
Language requirements
Fluency in English and German is required, with German expected at least at B1 level.

- Access to team-building events with colleagues from across the global team.
