Role Overview

The Housekeeper will help keep guest rooms and shared hotel areas spotless, well stocked, and ready to meet hotel standards. This role is central to maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Key Duties

• Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas in line with hotel procedures.
• Replace bedding and towels, and restock guest toiletries and other amenities.
• Make sure rooms are fully prepared and checked before guests arrive.
• Flag repair needs, damage, and any lost property to the relevant team.
• Observe all hygiene, safety, and cleanliness rules throughout the shift.
• Handle guest requests courteously and quickly whenever support is needed.
• Keep cleaning tools and housekeeping supplies in proper working order.
• Coordinate with fellow housekeeping staff to maintain consistent service quality and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Prior work in housekeeping, room attendant duties, or hotel cleaning is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
• Strong focus on detail and a genuine commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to manage tasks alone as well as in a team setting.
• Good organization and time-management abilities.
• Physical fitness to carry out cleaning work, including standing for long periods and lifting when needed.
• Basic spoken and written English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Dependable, positive, and willing to work with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Availability for shift work, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
