Job description

Role overview

This remote Imaging Support Specialist opportunity is open to candidates in the United States and is being handled for a partner employer. The partner company oversees the application process and all subsequent hiring steps.

The role is central to maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of imaging operations in a fast-moving, client-facing setting. You will support daily workflows connected to a large loan portfolio, making sure documentation and imaging standards are met across multiple teams and stakeholders. Alongside operational support, you will act as a quality-control resource, help surface issues, close process gaps, and uphold strong service levels. The position also involves reporting, metric tracking, and performance review to drive ongoing improvement. Because this is a detail-sensitive function, precision, structure, and clear communication will directly influence service quality and client satisfaction.

Key accountabilities

You will oversee and support imaging operations from end to end, ensuring image-processing activity remains accurate, timely, and aligned with service expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring image validation, renaming workflows, tracking missing documents, and managing client communication while meeting SLA and quality targets. You will prepare and review operational reports, study performance trends, identify recurring root causes, and suggest corrective measures that improve efficiency and accuracy. Working with both internal teams and external clients will be essential when resolving imaging exceptions and protecting continuity of service. You will also contribute to training, audits, procedural updates, and the reinforcement of best practices across the imaging function.

Additional responsibilities

  • Keep daily imaging operations moving with accuracy, completeness, and timely execution across all workflow stages.
  • Handle imaging activities such as document verification, missing-image follow-up, and client-facing reporting.
  • Build and analyze operational metrics and reports to monitor quality, performance, and SLA compliance.
  • Spot workflow breakdowns, investigate underlying causes, and support plans for corrective action.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and clients to clear imaging exceptions and resolve service issues.
  • Support audits, policy revisions, and process improvements within imaging operations.
  • Help train teammates to improve consistency, coverage, and overall operational effectiveness.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid organization, and the ability to manage several urgent priorities in a structured operational environment. Experience with data-driven workflows, document systems, and client-service processes is preferred, especially in mortgage or financial services settings. Strong communication skills are important because the role involves regular interaction with internal teams, external clients, and leadership. You should be comfortable working on your own while also contributing effectively in a team setting. Confidence with Microsoft Office tools and the ability to interpret data for reporting and issue resolution are also essential.

  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • Prior exposure to mortgage documentation and imaging workflows is preferred.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general computer systems.
  • Experience with databases and data entry or retrieval tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to assess problems and contribute to root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong teamwork skills.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options.
  • Paid holidays, vacation time, and sick leave.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Employee stock purchase program.
  • Mental health and wellness support, including digital wellbeing resources.
  • Tuition reimbursement and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Employee recognition initiatives and performance-based incentives.
  • Remote work arrangement with equipment and support provided.
