Role Summary
Heartland AEA is hiring a remote Invoice Clerk to help with core financial administration. The position focuses on invoice handling, record maintenance, and accurate documentation to keep day-to-day business operations running smoothly. It is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable contributing to a team-based environment while building administrative and accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine incoming invoices, confirm their accuracy, and move them through processing promptly.
- Record invoice details in financial systems with careful attention to precision.
- Compare invoices against backup documents and help fix any mismatches or errors.
- Keep digital files and supporting records well organized and up to date.
- Coordinate with internal teams about invoice progress and payment-related details.
- Help with reconciliations and routine financial reporting tasks.
- Track invoice activity to make sure deadlines are followed.
- Provide support for month-end administrative and accounting work when required.
- Protect sensitive information and maintain strong data integrity practices.
