Job description
Role overview
This position focuses on deepening relationships with merchant partners through regular face-to-face engagement, resolving issues efficiently, and guiding merchants on important tools that improve adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
What you will do
- Meet merchant partners in person within your assigned territory, maintain ongoing contact, and provide practical support during each visit.
- Use an area-management approach to plan visits with purpose, adapt each discussion to the merchant’s business context, and make every interaction count.
- Address merchant concerns quickly, or route them to the right internal teams when escalation is required. Work closely with Product, Support, and Operations to fix underlying problems and reduce repeat issues.
- Show merchants how to use available tools such as the Merchant App, Self-Serve Marketing, and Insights Portal so they can make better use of the platform and improve outcomes.
- Gather merchant input and pass it on to internal stakeholders, record successful engagement methods, and share proven practices with the wider team.
- Develop a strong understanding of the merchant landscape in your area, including competitors and local market conditions, to spot opportunities for expansion.
- Track and communicate performance indicators such as engagement, satisfaction scores, product adoption, retention, and resolution time.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, business development, or field sales.
- Experience in food and beverage or e-commerce will be considered an advantage.
- Comfortable working with data and KPIs to shape decisions and actions.
- Self-driven, practical, and able to operate independently.
