About the Company

The organization has spent close to two decades supporting the UAE oil and gas industry, delivering both onshore and offshore work. Its client portfolio includes ADNOC as well as Tier 1 and Tier 2 EPC contractors. The team provides end-to-end EPC&M support for electrical and instrumentation activities, applying local expertise to measurement, automation, and the full cycle of exploration, production, separation, refining, and distribution processes.

Job Overview

This position is for a Junior Engineer who will support electrical and instrumentation project execution, office coordination, documentation follow-up, and site-based technical activities for oil and gas assignments in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the handling of incoming orders together with CRM and the process control team.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on GADs, critical documents, and technical records with customers.
  • Monitor purchase orders issued by the procurement team for confirmed job orders.
  • Keep track of material receipt timelines and delivery schedules.
  • Follow up on customer invoice release related to the assigned orders.
  • Attend SAT activities and carry out quality checks to verify product compliance before dispatch.
  • Support electrical and instrumentation work execution for oil and gas projects.
  • Examine engineering drawings, specifications, datasheets, and related project files.
  • Assist with installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of E&I systems.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, construction teams, and subcontractors to keep work moving smoothly.
  • Track project progress and escalate technical concerns to senior engineers when needed.
  • Take part in site inspections, testing, and commissioning tasks.
  • Work in line with ADNOC, client, and company quality expectations as well as HSE standards.
  • Help prepare technical reports, material requests, work plans, and other project documents.
  • Support troubleshooting and maintenance for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Maintain records such as project files, calibration certificates, inspection reports, and test documentation.
  • Join toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessment activities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • Applicants may be fresh graduates or professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial environments.
  • Working understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation systems, and industrial automation is needed.
  • Familiarity with IEC, NEC, ISA, and ADNOC standards is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation is expected.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities are important.
  • Good report-writing and documentation skills are required.
  • Capability in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is needed.
  • Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills are expected.
