Junior Reporting Analyst

Role overview

An opportunity is available for a Reporting Analyst to support the Business Management team within a B2B portfolio for one of Canada’s five major banks. The position is focused on business reporting, data analysis, and executive-ready deliverables, with exposure to financial reporting, resource tracking, and broader operational activities.

Contract details

This assignment runs for 6 months and includes the possibility of conversion to a permanent position. The pay rate is $25–28 per hour on a T4 basis.

Work location

The role is based in Downtown Toronto and requires on-site attendance 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update reports that track resource movement.
• Support workforce analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Carry out manual reporting tasks with a high level of accuracy and care.
• Prepare and revise presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Work with large Excel datasets, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP.
• Partner with colleagues to address a variety of business reporting requirements.

Required background

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business or a closely related discipline and has 0–2 years of experience. Strong Excel knowledge is essential, along with excellent organization, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Preferred strengths

Experience with large datasets, reporting support, and presentation development will be helpful. The role also suits someone who is self-directed, takes initiative, spots discrepancies quickly, and can turn complex information into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
