The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physically involved laboratory work. A Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (TAFE) or an equivalent qualification is preferred, along with around 1–2 years of laboratory, sample preparation, or similar practical experience. Flexibility to work shifts and adjust to changing workload needs is also important.
