Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker for a long-term care setting in Spencer, West Virginia. Responsibilities

• Gather, separate, wash, dry, press/fold, and deliver linens and residents’ clothing.
• Use laundry machines and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keep logs or records related to laundry work and inform a supervisor about repairs, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Apply infection-prevention practices and universal precautions to support a clean and sanitary setting.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors while providing strong customer service.
• Handle other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior laundry experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain a positive approach and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership while completing daily work.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals and products.
• Should be able to follow spoken and written directions and perform repetitive routine tasks each day.
• Residence within the service area is required.
