Role overview
BOC Limited, part of Linde, is hiring a Materials Operative for its site in Leixlip, Ireland. In this role, you will help keep materials flowing smoothly at the customer location by maintaining stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and supporting safe, accurate handling of gas and chemical packages.
Key responsibilities
- Keep agreed minimum and maximum inventory levels in place at the customer site.
- Track factory usage closely so product supply to the customer remains uninterrupted.
- Inform the TMM Shift Lead whenever the customer’s consumption rises or falls.
- Receive gas and chemical deliveries from the warehouses and move them to the correct point of use at the customer site.
- Check all related paperwork and inspect containers visually to confirm they meet the expected quality standards.
- Carry out daily inspections of the customer’s gas and chemical usage points as well as the receiving docks.
- Coordinate the collection and return of gas and chemical packages back to the relevant warehouses.
- Take an active role in continuous improvement activities within the team.
