Where you'll work
Job description
About the team
You’ll join Lam Research’s Customer Support Business Group, which is dedicated to helping customers throughout the full lifecycle of their Lam equipment. The team supports performance, productivity, safety, and quality by delivering service and lifecycle solutions for critical tools and processes.
Role overview
This position is responsible for planning and tracking the materials and products used by the Account team. The aim is to keep the region supplied with the parts needed to support customers, manage inventory movement, and ensure products are shipped correctly. You will work with the Account team to create a business process for deciding stocking and replenishment levels and coordinate with corporate teams to secure the needed stock.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the Account team to understand business needs and forecast drivers, then determine appropriate stocking and replenishment levels. Act as the regional representative when working with corporate teams to secure required resources.
- Collaborate with external customers, the internal account team, and field service staff to define replenishment systems and processes, issue and receiving procedures, inventory control policies, and information systems that support material availability and distribution to the field.
- Manage inventory control activities by setting suitable stock levels, reducing obsolete and non-conforming materials, and minimizing aged inventory.
- Use historical consumption data to create and maintain a plan for every part, and keep SAP updated for forecasting purposes using that information.
- Create and strengthen business processes and workflows that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle any additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without prior experience, or equivalent hands-on work experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working with challenging stakeholders and partners.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.

Work location model
This role follows a hybrid arrangement. Lam’s hybrid setup may involve either On-site Flex, where you work on-site 3 or more days each week and remotely for the rest, or Virtual Flex, where you work on-site 1–2 days per week and remotely for the remaining time.
