What you will do

  • Assist with end-to-end contract lifecycle activity, including new procurements, renewals, extensions, mobilisation, and exit arrangements.
  • Help identify, assess, and reduce risks linked to contractual commitments and supplier delivery so business outcomes are protected.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to make sure contract terms and deliverables match project requirements.
  • Track supplier and contract performance against KPIs, SLAs, and agreed deliverables, with a focus on value for money and efficiency.
  • Monitor contract spend and invoices, maintain financial control, and liaise with Finance teams to support actuals and forecast reporting for programmes and workstreams.
  • Support security-related tasks, onboarding and offboarding processes, and the tracking of resources against contracts and Statements of Work.
  • Contribute to improving ways of working by helping map current and future processes, reducing cost, time, and effort where possible.
  • Support the delivery of trusted, secure, and resilient services in a demanding operational setting.

Essential experience and skills

  • Hands-on experience in an operational contract management role, including managing risk, contracts, and suppliers in a large and complex organisation in government or the private sector.
