About the role

Invicta Software is looking for a detail-focused, proactive Order Entry Input Clerk to help keep customer orders moving smoothly through the business. In this position, you will play an important part in making sure orders are entered correctly and processed on time, while connecting clients with the internal teams that fulfill their requests. This role suits someone who works well in a busy setting and takes accuracy seriously.

Key objectives

  • Capture and process customer orders accurately in the system.
  • Keep sales, inventory, and shipping teams aligned with clear communication.
  • Protect data quality and quickly correct any mismatches or errors.
  • Help support efficient order fulfillment and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders into the order management platform with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review order details such as product IDs, quantities, pricing, and delivery notes.
  • Work with sales staff and customer service to confirm or clarify order information when needed.
  • Track order progress and update records for changes, cancellations, or status updates.
  • Spot order-related issues or inconsistencies and escalate them to the right team.
  • Keep complete documentation and order logs for audit and reporting needs.
  • Help prepare recurring reports on order entry activity and performance.
  • Follow company procedures and safeguard confidential customer data.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification; further education is considered an advantage.
  • Prior background in order entry, data entry, or a related administrative function.
  • Comfort using computers, Microsoft Office, and order processing software.
  • Strong accuracy and a sharp eye for detail in data work.
  • Good organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Preferred: experience handling orders in a software or technology environment.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CRM tools and ERP systems.
  • Preferred: basic knowledge of inventory management and supply chain workflows.
