About the role
The Wright Group is expanding its pastry division to support a growing network of attractive cafes. They are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pastry Chef with solid production experience to join the kitchen team.
The position centres on making large quantities of pastries, desserts, and baked items while keeping output reliable, consistent, and efficient. It is a morning-shift role, generally Monday to Friday, and suits someone who wants a better work-life rhythm while working in a busy professional kitchen.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a broad range of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods in a high-output environment
- Work from recipes and production specifications to keep products uniform and up to standard
- Organise daily production to align with business needs
- Deliver all items within required time limits while maintaining efficiency
- Track ingredient stock and help with ordering when needed
- Keep the pastry area clean and well organised in accordance with HACCP food safety practices
- Partner closely with the wider kitchen team to support day-to-day operations
- Suggest new products, seasonal items, and improvements to the menu
Requirements
- Demonstrable background as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a production-focused setting
- Good knowledge of pastry methods, baking techniques, and how ingredients should be handled
- Ability to work on your own and manage time effectively during early shifts
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team

Working pattern
This is a full-time onsite role in Swords, County Dublin, Ireland. The schedule is mainly morning shifts, typically Monday to Friday.
