Pharmacy Assistant – Operations & Digital Experience

About the Role

Mednow is seeking a pharmacy assistant who is energized by operations, comfortable with technology, and eager to contribute beyond routine dispensing tasks. This position sits at the center of a modern mail-order pharmacy model, where accuracy, speed, and patient care all matter equally.

You’ll be part of a fast-growing health-tech environment and gain exposure to digital workflows, pharmacy systems, and cross-functional operations that support timely medication delivery and a smooth patient experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee prescription movement through a digital workflow, using systems such as Kroll, Mednow’s internal application, Shopify for order handling, and shipping partners including UberDirect to support last-mile delivery.
• Serve as a key point of contact for patients through the app, phone via GoToConnect, Slack, and email, making sure communication remains responsive and compassionate in a digital setting.
• Support PACMED automated strip packaging for compliance patients, with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Work across pharmacy platforms such as Kroll Paperless, Google Workspace, and prescribing tools like PrescribeIT to keep daily operations running efficiently.
• Contribute to B2B initiatives and special projects with clinic partners and house-call doctor services.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a technology-first mindset who is comfortable learning and working inside digital systems. Experience with Kroll Paperless, Shopify, Slack, or other delivery and pharmacy platforms is a major advantage.

The right person will be able to move quickly between patient support, data entry, and logistics coordination in a high-volume environment. Strong communication, empathy, and professionalism are essential because the role combines operational work with direct patient interaction.

Curiosity and ambition matter here too. This role offers exposure to automated workflows and B2B healthcare programs that go beyond what is typically found in a traditional retail pharmacy setting.

Additional Information

This is not a typical pharmacy assistant position focused only on store-floor tasks. It is a hands-on opportunity to work within a modern, tech-enabled healthcare operation where your contribution is visible and meaningful.
