Placement Officer

Role Overview

Idealcrew Technology is looking for a Placement Officer to support student placements, strengthen industry relationships, and coordinate hiring activities between the institution and employers. The role focuses on preparing students for careers, enabling recruitment drives, and ensuring suitable matches between candidates and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain connections with industry partners and act as a bridge between the institution and employers.
• Identify students’ training gaps and help arrange the support needed to improve employability.
• Plan and coordinate campus interviews and recruitment drives.
• Guide students through counselling sessions, helping them define academic, career, and long-term professional goals.
• Support students in developing practical job-search strategies and interview readiness.
• Create presentation or promotional material about the college for prospective recruiters.
• Maintain department-wise databases of student profiles and placement records.
• Drive placement outreach initiatives and manage ongoing placement campaigns.
• Help employers meet their hiring needs by sharing suitable candidate profiles.
• Strengthen students’ career decision-making abilities and support career planning activities.
• Raise awareness among students about future career paths and placement opportunities.
• Coordinate with companies to shortlist and recruit candidates based on their requirements.
• Assist students in securing final placements with reputed organizations.
• Track placement-related advertisements and opportunities relevant to student profiles.
• Share resumes of appropriate candidates with potential employers.
• Organize placement training sessions, including preparation for interviews and group discussions.
• Obtain management approval for on-campus drives and communicate details through department placement coordinators.
• Liaise with partner industries under existing memorandums and support the relationship between those companies and the institution.
• Guide students toward permanent employment by connecting them with prospective recruiters.

Additional Information

Salary is not capped for strong candidates. Candidates from a Healthcare or Clinical Research background are preferred. The position is based from home.
