Porter Valet

Role overview

The Ritz-Carlton, Perth is looking for a Porter Valet to support a refined guest experience at its Perth property. This non-management, full-time position sits within Rooms & Guest Services Operations and plays an important part in maintaining smooth arrival and departure services, assisting guests with luggage and vehicle handling, and delivering courteous local support in line with the brand’s Gold Standards.

Key responsibilities

• Keep vehicle movement on the property organised so traffic flows safely and efficiently.
• Handle guest vehicles by parking and retrieving them from the designated areas.
• Provide guests with accurate guidance on hotel facilities, services, operating hours, and nearby places of interest.
• Support guests with luggage handling, including loading, unloading, moving, storing, collecting, and transporting bags to and from rooms.
• Arrange or coordinate guest requests such as transport, reservations, dry cleaning, and similar services.

Requirements

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification from a nationally accredited training provider (RSA).
• Current I’m Alert Food Safety certification issued by the City of Perth.
• An unrestricted Western Australia driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of the local area.
• A genuine focus on customer service.
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
• This role is suitable for candidates who can work full time at the Perth location.
