Role summary

The role focuses on the physical handling of packages across multiple stages of the warehouse flow. Work includes loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking parcels. The job may also involve operating heavy machinery when needed, along with other duties assigned in a busy operational setting.

Key duties

• Learn UPS package-handling procedures and apply them accurately.
• Move parcels into trailers or package cars by loading and unloading them safely.
• Carry out package scanning, sorting, receiving, shipping, and stocking tasks as required.
• Support additional operational tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements

Candidates should be able to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. / 32 kgs. The role also requires the ability to read and remember postal codes. Flexibility is important, as shifts may vary and can extend up to 5 days per week. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
