Role overview

Production Equipment Europe is a major industrial distributor with a catalogue of more than 80,000 products serving customers throughout Europe. The Galway-based team is hiring a Pricing Data Administrator to support the Pricing Coordinator and wider team with day-to-day administration and master data tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up and keep new part numbers updated in SAP, following internal standard operating procedures and data rules.
  • Handle manufacturer details, manufacturer prefixes, item groups, and product classification.
  • Process updates to existing part numbers, including changes to manufacturer product codes, descriptions, UOM, barcodes, and item status.
  • Work with suppliers to gather and verify product specifications, Intrastat and customs information, and manufacturer details.
  • Maintain accurate SAP item master records and ensure data remains consistent and reliable.
  • Support the management of clearance items and obsolete stock records.
  • Perform daily reviews and checks on newly created or amended part numbers.
  • Identify and fix inconsistencies and issues in master data.
  • Look after the shared pricing inbox.
  • Assist with Intrastat data and related reporting needs.
  • Contribute to item group reviews and wider master data improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and review Power BI and Excel reports for the Pricing team.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to keep product and pricing information aligned across systems.
  • Take on additional administration and reporting duties as needed to support the Pricing team.

Skills and experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionality.
  • Excellent accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Comfort handling large data sets and maintaining master data.
  • Good analytical ability and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP platform is an advantage.
  • Background in supplier communication or vendor data management is beneficial.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Capable of working on your own initiative as well as collaborating with others.
  • A questioning mindset with the confidence to review and challenge information.
  • Clear and professional spoken and written communication skills.
